With every new release we fall more in love with the weird and wonderful world of Norfolk duo Let's Eat Grandma, who signed to Transgressive Records last year. Sitting somewhere between Kate Bush and the traditional soliloquy style of Patti Smith, they mark the crux of where artistry and music meet with their absurd creativity and the characters they embody. In keeping with their slightly disturbing name, the pair launch into new single 'Rapunzel' with a spine-tingling introduction before their surreal storytelling kicks in. Written from the viewpoint of the long haired heroine herself, they convey angst, hurt and frustration with a cast of piano, strings and spiky harmonies.
